Kalikhasan
Writeshop

In 2019, we hosted a writeshop with artists and cultural workers on designing an integrated community story mapping tool with climate and conflict vulnerable communities that would document cultural and ecological heritage and resources for food security, biodiversity conservation, regenerative livelihood, and ecosystem restoration using creative media and processes.

At the heart of the work is how story heals, weaves, and co-creates the new narratives we want, learning from the wisdom of the past, the lived present, and the emerging future. We aim to create spaces where art and science meet, and where data meets story to give more meaning and value on initiatives for resilience and regeneration.

This writeshop was made possible through the support of Emma Gutierrez, Kasiyana Peace and Healing Initiatives, the Carl Jung Circle Center Philippines, and Green Releaf.
